arrrrghhhhhhhh
I've really just had it about up to here already having to put up with the amount of wolf-whistling my irritant of a neighbour does. I feel like snapping at him "will it just kill you if you DON'T WOLFWHISTLE for 1 day?!?!!" arrrrrghhhh!
He was irritating in a childish manner all along, but I still enjoyed having him as a neighbour overall from the start of semester, cuz he's quite nice and he had this gf back in his homeland that he was, really, quite head-over-heels in love with. At times his infatuation with her was admirable, at times it came close to irritating. But ok... still ok.
Then about a month ago they broke up. According to him, she cheated on him. Ok lor, fine... THENNNN he went nuts here. Incessantly wolf-whistled at any 'chick' who walked past our kitchen outside (we have this full-length window at our kitchen), kept 'boasting' about which gal is trying so hard to find him now and be friends with him until he had to fake that he's in another city, going on and on about which gal he picked up at the bar tonite... etc etc.
OH MAN... I've endured it for the past month or so and I'm SO IRRITATED NOW. arrrrghhhh!!!
notice how many times I've used the word irritating and all its cousin derivatives.
He's really irritating ah!
I think he's probably starting to detect 2.9% of my growing irritation (the insensitive bloke needs a bit of time to process it i guess) because he doesn't try his funny things on me anymore (he used to try to poke me in my stomach/back in the kitchen when I'm unaware but I glared at him).
His whole derogatory manner towards girls is just to be abhorred, I kid you not. Example of conversation between him and another guy (this was just after he broke up):
He: Oh I just broke up with her, man.
Guy: Aww that's a pity. But it happens, man. Life goes on.
He: Yeah man, girls are like that. girls are sh*t. They're just nothing man.
Guy: *coughs embarrassingly*
And why the embarrassed cough, you ask? Because yours truly was in the kitchen cooking and yours truly is a girl and this neighbour of mine doesn't even have the basic courtesy to keep his utterly derogatory comments about girls to himself.
There was another time when he said worst things about girls to another neighbour in front of me in the kitchen (so terok I don't even want to write it). *faintz* ah...
If I need to snap at you soon, let me do it such that you actually GET the real idea.
I want to choose to look beyond your irritating behaviour and beyond your desperate attempts to find acceptance.
This is gonna be tough.
