sunday

Today was a good sunday, filled with activities that i love most.

worshipping God, learning from the book of Ecclesiastes - one of my fave books, enjoying lotsa food with friends, laughing much, celebrating, thanking God, kissing my nice-smelling just-showered little dog, reading a travel book under the sun, loving my swim.

Thank you God, for creating activities that are able to bring us pleasure. Games and fun and silly jokes and all... I'm so thankful that I'm in a profession too that celebrates all these activities as being so important to our lives and health!

food for thought

On crisis and natural disasters...

"The first action to be taken is to pull ourselves together. If we are to be destroyed by an atomic bomb, let that bomb, when it comes, find us doing sensible and human things - praying, working, teaching, reading, listening to music, bathing the children, playing tennis, chatting to our friends over a pint and a game of darts - not huddled together like frightened sheep and thinking about bombs."

C.S. Lewis, 1986.
