it sucks...

... to run a half marathon and then be on soft diet because of a sore throat, which is developing into a full-blown cold, with runny nose and all. i'm supposed to be reloading the good food into my battered body now, not surviving on the fish soup and porridge!

but for now, i just hope i can be well enough to actually go church camp this week... and try all that malacca food!

blessings in Transition

It's quite the exciting phase of Transition for many people around me. I guess it's this age group.

- Just had brekkie with Adr at her very pretty new house, prepared for the little ones in the planning.
- Ran into HL at Killiney and congratulated her on her own little one arriving in 3 more months.
- Last night B&M were getting advice on buying their first car.
- While I was babysitting baby J (the J might as well stand for joy, at the rate he was laughing. haha!) throughout.
- And of course, our own house/wedding/finances planning.

I have much to give thanks for. I see the circle of friends I am in and am filled with thankfulness for all that they are blessed with too. There is a humble acknowledgement that we are in the strata of society that has been blessed with much. I pray that we learn to give much too.
